Skywarn Net premable

QST QST QST All stations stand by for the Skywarn net. This net will begin in ___ minutes.

This is (your callsign)_______ opening the weekly Skywarn net on the (Net Frequency)______ Repeater. This repeater is made availble to skywarn by (supporting club/group of repeater)________________.
The purpose of the Skywarn program is to make use of amateur radio to gather and distribute severe weather information to the national weather service for distribution to the general public.

This net is conducted each Tuesday at (net time)___________and during severe weather adviseries. This routine weekly net will allow us to provide the Skywarn volunteers advance notificaton of upcoming events and other important information.

This net is open to all amateurs licensed for this frequency and discussion may include not only weather information but any subject of interest to amateur radio operators.

At this time I will open the net for checkins. Do we have any mobile or short time opertors, come now. Handle these stations first.
